Ο Όμιλος της Αμμοχώστου δημιουργήθηκε το 1992 και είναι ένας από τους 4 Ομίλους που αποτελούν την Ομοσπονδία Χιονοδρόμων Κύπρου.
Μέλη του Ομίλου είναι άτομα και οικογένειες από ή με καταγωγή από την Αμμόχωστο.

LIMASSOL SKI CLUB
The Limassol Ski Club was founded 1992 and it has a pure athletic character. Our aim is to discover and to promote young talents in skiing. We are the first club in Cyprus who introduce training all around, during summer with physical education and during winter with technical training both in Cyprus and Abroad.

As a result this program enabled us to have athletes in all categories in the National Championship. Please note that Andreas Vasili, the National Champion in Cyprus since 1993, is an athlete and a member in our club. He has participated, besides the local races in the:

Olympic in Albertville 1992
World Championship in Sestrieres, 1997
Olympics in Nakano, Japan, 1998
World Championship in Vail, USA, 1999
His final aim is to participate at the Olympic of 2002 in USA in Downhill and Super G races.

Andreas Vasili trains our young talents passing on his extensive racing experience and skills.
Last but not least, our club organizes, besides skiing trips overseas, parties and excursions during summer and winter. All such information will be given through our website and everybody is welcome to join us.

NICOSIA SKI CLUB
The Nicosia Ski Club (NSC) was founded in 1992 and is a member of the Cyprus Ski Federation.
Its aim is to promote young talents and prepare them for participation in the yearly Pancyprian Championship Races and if talented, to represent Cyprus at International competitions, Olympic Games and World Championships (latter in cooperation with the Cyprus Ski Federation)

The NSC has established an "Academy" for children born 1993 and after, which are members of the NSC. They will be taught the first steps in skiing and later get them familiar with race-skiing. For further information please contact 99451994 or 99641610.

Any skier (adult or children, born or living in the Nicosia District, or districts not presently represented by a Club like Larnaka or Pafos) can become a member of the NSC and take advantage of lower prices on ski rental and lift tickets.

Membership fees are: For couple CYP30,- plus CYP5,- for each child under 18.

For singles (over 18) CYP 20,-

Registration will take place at the SUN VALLEY. Bring a photo with you or have one taken for CYP1,-

We not only enjoy skiing! The NSC organizes every year the already traditional "Cheese and Wine Party" which is loved and looked forward not only by members of our Club but also by many non-skier friends.

TROODOS SKI CLUB
Σύντομο ιστορικό
Ο Χιονοδρομικός Όμιλος Τροόδους (Χ.Ο.Τ) ιδρύθηκε στις 31 Οκτ.92 με σκοπό την ανάπτυξη των χιονοδρομιών και άλλων συναφών χειμερινών αθλημάτων στην ευρύτερη περιοχή Τροόδους.
Διοικείται από επταμελές συμβούλιο, το οποίο εκλέγεται ανά διετία και έχει ως έδρα το Τρόοδος. Στις 02 Δεκεμβρίου 1995 αδελφοποιήθηκε με τον αντίστοιχο Σύλλογο Χιονοδρόμων Ορειβατών Αράχοβας Ελλάδος.
Το 1995 δημιούργησε Ακαδημία Χιονοδρομιών η οποία λειτουργεί για τις ανάγκες των μελών του και σ΄ αυτή μπορούν να εγγράφονται παιδιά από 6 μέχρι 12 ετών.
Κάθε έτος διοργανώνει Παγκύπριους χιονοδρομικούς αγώνες και παράλληλα συμμετέχει και στους αντίστοιχους αγώνες τόσο των άλλων χιονοδρομικών ομίλων όσο και της Ομοσπονδίας Χιονοδρόμων Κύπρου. Κάθε έτος αποστέλλει αθλητές εκτός Κύπρου για προετοιμασία και
συμμετοχή σε διεθνείς αγώνες χιονοδρομιών. Διοργανώνει ετήσια χοροεσπερίδα με σκοπό τη γνωριμία μεταξύ των μελών του και την καλύτερη σύσφιξη των σχέσεών τους. Έχει ως επίσημους χορηγούς τους Κοινοτικό Συμβούλιο Πλατρών και MANTOVANI PLOTIN TRAVEL.
